Happy New Year from IMPACT Learning Inc.

Carol Marturano-Becker2015 is certainly off to a FAST start!!  It is hard to believe it is February already.  One very exciting announcement I would like to make is the addition of Sterling “Skip” Ivison as Vice President US Operations.  Skip brings a wealth of experience to IMPACT Learning Inc.  A highly experienced senior level leader and Human Resources professional, Skip combines his strong technical background with more than fifteen years of HR experience to provide the full range of executive coaching, leadership development, and consulting services. Please join me in welcoming Skip to IMPACT Learning Inc.

In early January, IMPACT Learning Inc. celebrated eighteen years of serving our clients’ leadership needs.  It is interesting to note that many of the challenges leaders face today have remained the same over the years:  aligning managers and staff, ensuring an engaged and motivational environment, managing change, and operating efficiently and cost effectively.

There are also new challenges that are reflective of the complexity associated with leading people today:  the impact of social media and 24/7 expectations, five very different generations with very different expectations in the workplace, changes in technology, remote employees, and even higher expectations for leaders.
