Carol Marturano-Becker is the founder of IMPACT Learning Inc. and is committed to delivering comprehensive resources for today's leader and business owner, helping them to take themselves and their businesses to the next level. IMPACT Learning Inc. focuses on delivering integrated processes associated with leadership development, including executive and business coaching, business solutions, performance coaching, strategic planning, maximizing team performance, change management and leading for innovation.
Carol possesses nearly twenty years of experience as an executive/business coach and consultant. She has over fifteen years of successful corporate leadership experiences, as well. In addition to working with her own clients, she has been a ResNet consultant for Forum Corporation for over fifteen years. Carol established The URGENT Coach process (trademark pending) to help leaders, business owners and entrepreneurs address urgent business situations, as well as the URGENT!!IMPACT Foundation for Success business model.
Previously, Carol held a series of senior and middle leadership positions in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, including leading: a highly profitable business unit, a government affairs (lobbying) unit, a world-wide employee development function, a sales organization, and a North American reorganization project. She also held numerous leadership roles in sales, marketing, research, manufacturing, strategic planning and human resources.
In her consulting, coaching, and training engagements, Carol has worked with a multitude of clients in a variety of industries, including chemical, pharmaceutical, financial services, insurance, information technology, health care, communications, broadcasting, and nonprofits. Carol's clients include executive, senior, and middle management within numerous Fortune 500 companies, as well as numerous mid-size and small companies and entrepreneurs. Some of her clients have included: DuPont, Unisys, Bayer, Texas Instruments, The Vanguard Group, Endo Pharmaceuticals, American Family Insurance, Ameriprise Financial, Irving Oil and University Hospitals Healthcare System. Her real world experience provides her with the unique ability to give every learning experience a practical application.
Carol earned a B.S. in Biology with a double major in Psychology from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, N.Y., and a M.S. in Biological Sciences with a concentration in neurophysiology from the State University of New York. She has completed courses toward an M.B.A. at the University of Delaware and holds numerous certifications. She is a current member of the International Coach Federation.
As a frequent speaker and facilitator for professional associations and companies, Carol has built a reputation across the United States. She is also involved in community service and has served in volunteer leadership roles for a number of organizations and is very interested in education and healthcare. Carol is happily married, the mother of two college students and enjoys the fact that her mother also lives with her. She enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, skiing, boating, reading, attending sporting events, and gardening.
